WISE Ventures Esports partners with Mission Control

WISE Ventures Esports has announced they have partnered with recreational esports platform Mission Control. WISE is the parent company of the Call of Duty League franchise Minnesota RØKKR and the Version1 brand. This deal will see the creation of a community Rocket League recreational league.

Version1 was launched back in August and currently houses a roster in the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS). The recreational league is scheduled to begin on November 10th 2020.

Chief Revenue Officer at Mission Control, Daniel Herz, commented on the partnership: “WISE Esports has been a leading example of what it truly means to invest in their community. We at Mission Control believe in the power of engagement and strive to connect communities, such as the Røkkr and Version1 fan bases, through their common interest in video games. We hope to continue on the same trajectory in the future!”.

Chief Operating Officer at WISE Ventures Esports, Brett Diamond, also commented on the partnership: “Partnering with Mission Control provides a unique opportunity to advance dual goals of giving our core community of fans an opportunity to come together in a casual but competitive environment, while also providing a platform to introduce Røkkr and Version1 to the broader player bases of both titles. “Reaching both audiences is critical to our growth as an organisation, and Call of Duty and Rocket League are two immensely popular games that are perfect for this platform. The community building nature of Mission Control is even more important in our current socially distanced world.”
