Tottenham Hotspur is close to signing a Spanish superstar, Gareth Bale. He signed for Real Madrid after being at Tottenham for over three seasons. Fans have said ever since they lost Gareth Bale to Real Madrid they have tried to find a player of his standard to replace him. After 30+ signing they re-sign Gareth Bale to give Tottenham hope of winning a trophy.

In 2008 Tottenham's won the Carling Cup, where they played Chelsea and beat them 2-1 at Wembley Stadium. This trophy would mark the fourth time Spurs have won the League Cup. They haven’t won any major titles or trophies since then, they came close to winning the Champions League in the 2018/19 season but were beat 2-0 by current Premier League champions, Liverpool.

Tottenham Hotspur has waited 12 years to win any trophy, whether that be a Premier League title or the Community Shield. Could this transfer window be the difference that could finally win them a trophy? Could the loaning of Gareth Bale change the whole squad’s mentality?
