Team Heretics establish partnership with UNICEF Spain

Team Heretics has announced a partnership with social welfare organisation UNICEF Spain. The partnership between both organisations has the aim to “maximize the opportunities offered by the esports sector and defend the positive impact of the gaming industry among young people.”. This will have a positive impact on all grassroot eSports and will improve the next wave of professional gamers.

The deal will see both Team Heretics and UNICEF Spain promote the empowerment of all young people with the sport and will also work to improve the rights of children and raise awareness of bullying and promote positive behaviour within the eSports world.

Executive Director of UNICEF Spain, Javier Martos, spoke on the partnership: “UNICEF we have a great interest in the correct development of gaming and we trust in the relevance of this alliance to convey responsible messages that bring us closer to young people in a different way together with the leaders of the sector.”

CEO of Team Heretics, Antonio Catena, also spoke on the partnership: “We are very happy to start a journey with UNICEF. We started a relationship with the best possible partner to support and improve the health of the entire gaming and esports ecosystem.”
