Rainbow Six Asia Pacific League unveils new global structure

Rainbow Six Asia Pacific League has revealed a new global structure. Ubisoft, the creators of Rainbow Six Siege have released the third of four regional leagues that will take on a new competitive structure and will be split into two completely different divisions and both will operate differently. The Asia-Pacific League won't be working the same as the European and North American leagues.

Teams from eight different countries will be competing within its North Division, these countries include Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore. Alternatively, the South Division will be split into Oceania and South Asia, with eight teams competing from these regions. The South Asia division will combine teams from India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan but each country in the South Asia division will have to compete in a series of open online tournaments.
