The tournament will last about 4 weeks and professional golfers will be competing on an online golf game World Golf Tour (WGT) by topgolf, the first match will be played from today (14th May 2020).

The initial first match will see sisters Jessica Korda and Nelly Korda, both are currently LPGA pros. Upcoming matches will include other professional golfers Angel Yin, Lizette Salas, Jenny Shin, Tiffany Joh, Lucy Li, and Jane Park. Golf Channel and GOLFTV will be the commentators for the upcoming matches.

LPGA Senior Vice President of Global Media Distribution, Brian Carroll, has spoken on the release of the LPGA eTour Live “We are excited for this partnership with WGT and Topgolf to present an entertaining and alternative golf experience for all fans alike during a time when many are starved for competition. This new endeavor is a creative way to showcase our LPGA and Symetra Tour players in an innovative online format, thanks to WGT and its incredibly realistic video game technology.”
