Ole Gunnar Solskjaer: It’s not my job!!!

United have failed to offload players this summer, this has been linked to their inability to gain new stars this transfer window. Players like Sergio Romero, Chris Smalling, and Phil Jones haven’t made an appearance in the Premier League this season or EFL cup match. Could this mean that these players are no longer in Solskjaer’s plans?

Solskjaer said "Players are happy when they play well and win games" "It's not my job to keep them happy. My job is to pick players to get results.”.

Chris Smalling has been training away from the Manchester United first team as Roma are working on a transfer deal. He has been strongly linked with a move back to Roma, he showed off his skill last season when he was on loan. Solskjaer has said that he hasn’t received a serious offer for the English defender yet.

Solskjaer has spoken on whether Smalling will enter back into United’s first team and said "Different things need to happen then. Let's wait and see if there is that change and what happens to Chris.".
