Leicester vs Crystal Palace match could still be postponed after local lockdown

Leicester City will be hosting Crystal Palace at the King Power Stadium on Saturday 4th July at 3:00pm. Local lockdown restrictions within and around Leicester have caused Premier League officials to consider contingency plans for the match to take place, the game could be moved to a neutral ground or the game postponed altogether. The government has recommended that a further 2 week extension be enforced in Leicester as it has a Covid-19 spike in the city but the Health secretary said on Tuesday that Leicester's home match against Crystal Palace can go ahead.
