JBL partners with ESL to announce JBL Quantum Cup

JBL has announced a partnership with ESL to create the JBL Quantum Cup. The brand new tournament will be a three-day event that will feature Fortnite, VALORANT, and PUBG. The JBL Quantum Cup will be accepting both amateur and professional competitors as well as letting fans compete in livestream giveaways. Regional Fortnite qualifiers will begin on December 5th and the official JBL finals will begin on December 11th.

The JBL Quantum Cup will be open to North America, Europe, and Asia the tournament will have a $200,000 (£151,900) prize pool. There will also be JBL Quantum gaming headsets, JBL Quantum DUO computer speakers, and a Samsung Galaxy Book Ion that will be up for grabs.

Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at JBL parent company HARMAN, Ralph Santana, commented: “Esports is growing faster than anyone expected, so being able to unite pro streamers with fans for the first time ever in this unique three-day tournament is a huge moment for us. With billions of people regularly tuning in to simply watch gaming tournaments, JBL is changing the game with the first competition that puts viewers at the centre of the action.”
