Immortals and Nerd partner to create online eSports summer camps

An online summer camp has been created by Immortals Gaming Club and Philadelphia-based Nerd Street Gamers, the summer camp will be based primarily around two competitive games. The two companies have partnered to develop a total of three summer camps, two based around League of Legends and the other one based around Overwatch. Each of the summer camps will have input from Immortals Gaming Club players and staff.

The newly created online summer camps will include, Q&A sessions with some of the professional players within Immortals Gaming, gameplay reviews from Immortals Gaming staff and health and wellbeing sessions. Each camp will last between 5-6 days and will cost $150(£123.11).

CCO for Immortals Gaming Club, Jon Tuck, has spoken out on the release: “IGC is excited to partner with Nerd Street Gamers to bring gamers this unique opportunity to learn from our professional players, have fun and connect with new friends in a positive, structured environment. This is a unique moment in time and we believe the camps will serve gamers and their parents well while establishing a format that we plan to replicate for years to come.”
