Gareth Bale: Close to returning to record breaking club

At the end of August, Bale expressed his wish to move to a club that would “appreciate” him. Tottenham Hotspur have approached Real Madrid about their wishes to sign Bale on loan, Real Madrid are close to signing this deal to get Gareth Bale’s £500,000 a week wages off their books. Tottenham are the favourites to get the Welsh internationals signature for this loan spell. Bale is scheduled to fly over from Spain on Friday to discuss terms with Tottenham before completing his move back to the Premier League.

Previously, a move for Gareth Bale was blocked by Real Madrid. Arguments between Bale and the Spanish Club have been ongoing, these have come to light after Gareth Bale’s discontent with the club. He was blaming Real Madrid for not allowing him leave despite his wishes but this new information falls inline with what he wants and what will be good for his career.

The Welsh international signed by Real Madrid in 2013 for a record breaking fee of £86m (€94m). Spurs signed Bale from Southampton in 2007 where he spent 6 seasons, if this deal goes through he will be returning to a club that will be fighting for a top 4 spot in the Premier League.

Will Gareth Bale fit into José Mourinho squad?

If this deal goes ahead he will join up with Son, Kane and Lucas. The style that Zidane plays within Real Madrid is completely different from the way José Mourinho will play Gareth Bale. The Premier League play style is completely different from La Liga, many players that have come across from Spain have struggled with adapting to the playing style of the Premier League.
