Gamers.Vote, VENN and MTV host celebrity Fall Guys event

VENN, MTV’s “Vote For Your Life” and non-profit, non-partisan organisation Gamers.Vote has announced a five-hour show called “Fall-o’-Ween” and a celebrity Fall Guys tournament that is set to encourage American gamers to vote. The five-hour live stream is set to be hosted on VENN’s network on October 23rd 2020, the day before the “Early Voting Day” in the United States.

The “Fall-‘o-Ween” will mark the first partnerships between VENN and MTV. VENN stars Chrissy Costanza and Daniel ‘dGon’ Gonzalez will be hosting the five-hour event.

The live stream will have a number of different celebrities competing including Felicia Day, music performers Wallows, and Tee Grizzley. A 40 player Fall Guys tournament will headline the event, each of the players/teams will be competing for $40,000 (£30,800) in prizes for their charity of choice.

The 2020 election is no different so we’re innovating and expanding our reach by partnering with VENN and Gamers.Vote to meet young people where they are to make sure the engaged and passionate gaming community is ready to ‘Vote for Your Life’ ahead of Vote Early Day.”

Co-CEO of VENN, Ariel Horn, also commented on the partnership: “The VENN production teams are responsible for some of the most important tentpole global events in gaming and esports history. “Partnering with MTV and their rich legacy of social impact initiatives, and Gamers.Vote and their critical cause of encouraging early turnout is both an honour and a commitment we take seriously.”
