Football transfer window to be affected by COVID-19

Football all over the world is suffering due to COVID-19, clubs are worried how this year's transfer window will be affected. Will they be able to get players to improve? How will clubs being promoted play in a higher league without improving. The transfer window will affect lower league clubs more so, limiting the ability to improve and get promoted or win titles.

Many clubs are believed to be making deals, swapping players or making offers of loaning for the season with an option to buy. Some clubs are rumored to still be able to purchase players in this year's transfer window, the likes of Manchester United and Real Madrid are still likely to make deals to improve their sides.

Fleetwood chairman Andy Pilley told BBC that “Football has to think creatively”. With the game of Football being admired across the world it has to be saved, many clubs being in dire need of financial help, a reset button may have to be pressed to stabilise the situation, many clubs don't want to end up like their counterparts EG: Bury or Macclesfield or Bolton.

English football clubs have told players to take pay cuts to help their clubs financial situation, the English Football League and Professional Footballers' Association have asked clubs to defer player wages up to 25%, some clubs haven’t gone along with this proposal as they have the financial structure to secure player wages and club finances.
