Esports Entertainment Group enters deal with LA Kings and LA Galaxy

Esports Entertainment Group (EEG) has been named the official eSports tournament provided for both LA Kings and LA Galaxy. Within the deal, EEG is set to host branded tournaments for the LA Kings and LA Galaxy through Esports Gaming League (EGL).

Esports Entertainment Group made a company announcement in August that they have intentions to acquire online tournament provide, Esports Gaming League. In a release, the new partnership is set to provide “new ways for the teams to engage their fans while demonstrating the crossover appeal of esports to traditional sports fans and organisations”.

EVP of Esports at Esports Entertainment Group, Magnus Leppaniemi, commented on the agreement: “This is the first big U.S. push for our tournament platform, a key component of our Three Pillar Strategy for growth. The LA Kings and LA Galaxy are highly acclaimed teams, and we are incredibly proud to be a part of their ongoing success.”.
