ESL Pro League break record number of viewers

The eleventh season of the ESL Pro League was live streamed on more screens than ever before, with nearly half a million people viewing the series world wide, with this season following a different structure then the last the organisers of the ESL Pro League have made the right adjustment for the current pandemic.

ESL have released data about the record breaking viewer count, they had 489,120 concurrent viewers across all platforms. The viewer count has increased by 215% since season 10, with steady increases every season, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) has gained a lot of exposure and an increase in audience because of this tournament.

A few of the teams that competed in season 11 of the ESL Pro League are:

  • Ninjas in Pyjamas
  • Natus Vincere
  • G2 eSports
  • Fnatic
  • FaZe Clan
  • Evil Geniuses
