Dragon X secure McLaren Seoul partnership

A partnership between McLaren Seoul and Dragon X has been announced on the Dragon X (DRX) official twitter account. The announcement was made on May 27th by a tweet, the terms and conditions of the deal have not been published at this moment in time. McLaren are new to the eSports world but acquiring a partnership with DRX is an amazing first step into eSports, for a luxury car manufacturer stepping into eSports it isn't a new concept.

Dragon X currently focus on League of Legends but they also have a team in Honor of Kings and Clash Royale. DRX competed in the LCK Spring Split in 2018 and MSI, placed 1st in the LCK and placed 2nd in MSI.

Luxury car manufacturers aren’t new to eSports with the likes of Mercedes and BMW having partnered with multiple eSports organisations and teams from around the world. Mercedes currently have a part ownership of SK Gaming. SK Gaming are one of the world’s most recognised organisations in eSports, they compete in different competitions around the world in games like Counter-Strike, FIFA and Warcraft.
